This work, in arabic, deals with the publication of documents relating to , sent from the treasury of Egypt to the inhabitants of the Holy Places during the Ottoman era, and during the reign of the family of Muḥammad ʿAlī Pasha. These documents, dated from 1154/1741 to 1273/1857, belong to the archives of the High Court at the National archives in Cairo . The importance of these documents lies in the monetary details they provide about the sums that the court decided to send annually, to the inhabitants of Mecca and Medina.
